Nearly every wood floor we sell is European white oak, so the real question is the grade. Pick a colour, then drag the line: same oak, same colour, same light — only the grade moves.

- About 10% of the tree's yield, cherry-picked. Knots no bigger than a dime — clean, calm, contemporary — where Naples is heading.
- Character
- Knots, splits, and real movement left in — a warm floor that forgives a busy house.
Both are wire-brushed. The grain is brushed open instead of sanded flat and filled, so you feel it underfoot. It catches Naples light, and no two boards read the same.
What's inside the board.
Start at the core. RIVA builds on marine-grade Baltic birch — a construction decision that costs more, but lets the floor glue straight to a Naples slab and stay flat. The finish is the tell: VOC-free Bona lacquer repairs in place when scratched. Most aluminum-oxide alternatives turn white and force a board swap.

Every RIVA collection is the same engineered European white oak in the same Florida colors. What actually changes room to room is the plank width — here are the four, framed and to true scale, just as they hang in our showroom. Wider boards read calmer and more expansive; narrower boards suit tighter rooms and pattern work.
One oak, one color across all four — the width is the decision. From a 3½″ Arte herringbone to a dramatic 14″ La Riva plank, every width comes in Select or Character grade.

What is RIVA?
RIVA is European white oak, milled and prefinished in Spain. It is an engineered wide-plank floor on a Baltic birch core, finished with a VOC-free Bona lacquer, in Select and Character grades.
What's the difference between Select and Character grade?
Same tree, two yields. Select is the cleaner cut with minimal knots and even grain — the quieter, contemporary field. Character keeps the knots and mineral streaks for a warmer, lived-in feel. The decision is how much natural variation you want to see.
How do I choose the color and width?
With full boards in your own room's light, not from a screen. Wider boards calm a large open room; narrower boards suit smaller rooms and patterns. Use the selector above to narrow it, then bring the shortlist to the showroom or ask us for sample boards.
How does installation start?
We measure the rooms and moisture-test every slab before confirming the installation method. Boards acclimate in Naples before the crew is scheduled, and the same project manager handles material, installers and the final walkthrough.
