FLOORING

Hardwood

Hardwood flooring is the most sought-after flooring option because it is known for being durable and easy to maintain. As opposed to carpet and other flooring alternatives, hardwood can handle the wear and tear of heavy foot traffic with little to no damage for decades, making it ideal for residential and commercial use.

The benefits of using hardwood in your space go well beyond maintenance. There are endless opportunities from finishes to customizations to give any space a high-end, elegant feel. As trends go in and out of style, hardwood floors embrace the beauty of the natural elements by providing a warm, timeless look.

Tile

Tile is another great, sustainable option for high traffic areas that need a durable floor. Mostly made of porcelain and ceramic, tile is suitable for bathrooms, kitchens, and outdoor spaces because it is highly resilient to moisture.

Options are vast when it comes to tile selection. With such a wide range of color and shapes, tiles can be installed in just about any array of designs to fit any decor style. This will give any space that luxurious, sleek feel. Tile is also considered better for air quality in closed spaces because it does not contain any fibers to trap pollen, dirt, or pet dander and is very easy to clean.

Luxury vinyl plank (LVP)

Luxury Vinyl Plank or better known as LVP is a great affordable alternative to the classic look of a hardwood floor. LVP gained popularity when it was introduced to the market over 10 years ago similarly to the roll out of laminate flooring.

Even with the resemblance to hardwood floors, luxury vinyl plank flooring does not require sealing, waxing, or polishing to maintain its appearance and can have individual planks removed and replaced if any damage were to occur. It is resistant to heavy scratches, scuffing, and water damage making it an excellent choice for heavily used spaces.

Carpet

Carpet is the most common type of floor covering. Made up of a layer of pile attached to a backing, it is usually made of wool or fibers such as nylon, polyester or polypropylene that are heat-treated after being woven or twisted together into tufts.

As an inexpensive option, carpeting provides a space with comfort and warmth through the vast amount of options for design, color, and texture. The padding used underneath a carpet floor covering adds to the soft design and doubles as a sound absorber.

Custom area rugs

Finding the perfect area rug can be a long, daunting task when trying to match color, pattern, size, and design to the rest of your space. Not all rooms fit into a square mold, and can make the rug search even more difficult with a small range of preselected sizes. A great option for when you know exactly what you want is to have a custom area rug made. There are endless possibilities for customization to not only fit the exact dimensions of your space but for a special piece that is unique to you and your home. A good majority of companies who supply carpet have the ability to customize and bind material to bring your vision to light.
